Angie & I have known each other for years now – she’s well known in the professional photography circles in Calgary. A wizard at editing & photoshop as well as album design – she’s the secret weapon behind many wedding & portrait photographers workflow in town & makes us look good on a regular basis. Yeah – she’s pretty awesome. So when Angie asked if I would shoot her family portrait I was very flattered & a little nervous. Turns out she was full of fun ideas for the shoot & Ian a willing partner in crime. Their son Carson goes to school with my daughters so Mim came along to help bring out his smiles & she was very good at it – a little too good as they would often be laughing so hard together I would have to calm down the silliness. Angie’s winter picnic theme was so cute & lots of sugar was consumed with cookies, hot chocolate with marshmallows & candy canes. Mim was VERY happy she came to help on this shoot
