Rachel & Ben’s wedding in a word, was spectacular. These are 2 amazing people, they are genuine, kind & share a great sense of humour. Their priorities in life are apparent; enjoying each other, spending time with friends & family, & appreciating great food & wines. This is exactly what their wedding day was all about. I love it when a bride & groom opt for a first look & see each other before the ceremony – they are more relaxed for the rest of the day & we get more time for photos! For this, Rachel & Ben met at a rural garden centre (with champagne) & it was a treasure trove of cool locations – we loved it. Then off to the stunning venue – AzuRidge (seriously amazing place!) for the ceremony & reception. Rachel & Ben’s research (randomly while standing in a check-out line buying groceries) when choosing a wedding day was the farmer’s almanac, which indicated Aug. 14th as the best (weather-wise) day of 2011 & it really was an accurate prediction for the perfect day.
