We are super excited to be part of the Calgary Wedding Fair again this year. We’ve been exhibiting in it for the last 10 years & the booth has gone from literally moving our entire living room & fireplace into a 10×10 foot space to a much pared down more simplified user friendly version.
This is an iPhone photo from last year. Pretty easy to spot us. Of course our branding has changed from red to green along with the move to our new studio space (we’re in the Feedmill building bay 2B 1701 11 St SE) & we’ll have some new albums & a beautiful new canvas up on display.
There’s a few things that are new & exciting this year:
The beautiful Angie from Angie & Andrew’s wedding will be down there to chat with any potential brides about her experience with f8 photography when we photographed her wedding last year. She can answer any questions about her wedding photography experience with f8 as well as showing off her gorgeous 12×12 custom designed Graphi album with a stunning metal cover. We love having past brides at our booth to give potential clients the ability to chat directly with a bride who was in your shoes not that long ago.
Coincidentally enough we have another Angie that will be hanging out at the booth this year as well. Our behind the scenes photoshop & editing master – who is also going to be doing some second shooting with Matt this year as part of the f8 team. Angie works for many high end wedding photographers here in Calgary & we are happy to have her sharing her skills behind the computer & behind the camera with us. Come down & say ‘hi’ & check out some of her work as well.
We are also unveiling a new product we’re offering at f8 this year. I would tell you but I don’t want to spoil the surprise! Let me just say, it’s eco-friendly, unique, custom made locally & you will want one. I want one for myself. For those of you who don’t make it down to the Wedding Fair on Sunday I will post photos later so you can drool over this unique item.
Supporting other wedding industry professionals is big to us & we are super pumped that Edralyn Chapman from Flower Artistry will be creating a one of a kind floral arrangement for our booth this year. When she told the design I was amazed she was going to attempt it – so we’ll see what she comes up with. We also have pretty great giveaway this year – f8 lip balm tins. I am pretty excited about this giveaway & they are really nice ones too (vanilla!). We have a limited supply so come down early to get yours.
