FREE Intro to DSLR class for TEENS
We are so excited to offer for the first time ever, our Free Intro to dslr class for teens ages 13-18. Living in Ramsay for the last 12 years, raising a family here & now having teens of our own – we’ve had a few requests from teens & parents to offer a class just for that age group. So July 12 from 7 – 9:30 it’s happening at the Alexandra Centre in Inglewood – 922 – 9 Ave SE. Small class – lots of hands on learning. This course will be help those who have a digital SLR camera, and are baffled at how to use the thing! Trust me – you are not alone.
Some of the usual questions:
How do I know if my camera is a DSLR? Basically, your camera doesn’t use film & has a lens you can remove from the camera body.
What if I don’t barely even know how to turn the camera on? Do not stress, that’s exactly what Matt is so great at teaching. Anything & everything to do with dslr cameras – from turning on the camera, to shooting in manual, and what the heck all those buttons do.
Will this class help me with what I want to take photos of specifically? YES! If you want to take better photos of your friends, of food, sports, architecture, landscapes, your dog. Anything. Absolutely take this class.
I’m not very technical – I’m worried I won’t understand. The DSLR on demand is a judgement free class. Matt is very laid-back & excellent at slowing it all down & explaining the camera workings in a very un-complicated & non-overwhelming way. He’s taught many Intro to dslr classes over the last 6 years for CPLC (Canadian Photographic Learning Centre), SAIT (Southern Institute of Technology) & of course through f8 photography.
